2014 Big Climb Race Results

Brutal is the word for this building. No one is really quite sure why this building is so good at chewing up tower runners and spitting them out at around floor 50, but seein-as-how the finish line is at 73, that makes for one tough final push to say the least. 2014 Presidential Towers Race Results

Josh Duncan took top honors this year at the brutal Presidential Towers 4 tower climb with a total time of 16:46. Jason Larson and John Osborn rounded out the top 3, finishing with extremely strong times as well. Cindy Harris won for women with a time of 18:24. Evelyn Wisniewski and Elizabeth Panke rounded out the top 3 for women. The 2013 SkyRise climb featured 2311 climbers racing each other up 2115 steps ( 1353 feet, 413 meters ) to the top of the Willis Tower. Big D and Aon Chicago Through the Eyes of One Crazy Mofo

  4 ascents , 2 buildings, 2 races, 1 weekend and 1 stair addict crazy enough to do both. The weekend of the 26th - 27th of January sported two awesome climbing races. The first was the "Big D" Climb in Dallas Texas, a 52 story, 1040 step race for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. 1268 folks entered the race, 1051 finished. 2013 Portland Climb

The "Big Pink" tower turned out to be no match for the X Gym team from Seattle this year. Our small, rag-tag team of 7 ended up hogging all the medals once again. There were different length climbs, so we had to be strategic in our placement and selection of who ran what.

  • Beverly grant won the 20 floor sprint (including dudes).
